About the Conference
Academy of Discrete Mathematics and Applications (ADMA), Department of Mathematics, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and Department of Mathematics, COEP Technological University Pune (COEP Tech) are jointly organizing 20th Annual Conference of Academy of Discrete Mathematics and Applications & International Conference on Discrete Mathematics 2024 (ADMA – ICDM 2024) during June 7th to 10th, 2024 and also to mark the celebrations of Graph Theory Day on 10th June. The purpose of this conference is to bring together experts and researchers and provide them a platform to discuss/disseminate recent advances in various areas of discrete mathematics, including but not limited to Combinatorics, Graph Theory, Lattice Theory, Coding Theory and related applications. The academic program of the conference will include endowment lectures, plenary talks, invited talks and paper presentations.
About Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)
Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly University of Pune), one of the premier universities in India. It was established on 10th February 1949 under the Poona University Act. The university houses 46 academic departments. The university has about 307 recognized research institutes and 612 affiliated colleges offering graduate and under-graduate courses. According to Times Higher Education World University Ranking, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has been ranked number 2 among the universities in India. The university is NAAC re-accredited at A+ level and has status of university with potential for excellence by UGC, India.
The Department of Mathematics started with the inception of the University. It offers two PG programs viz. M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.Sc. (Industrial Mathematics with Computer Applications), and a Ph.D. program in Mathematics. The department has a rich tradition of quality teaching. This has led to many students qualifying for national level examinations and entering Ph.D. programs in premier institutes like IITs, IISERs, foreign universities. Besides teaching, the department is also well known for its quality research activities. The department has a respectable number of full-time research scholars. It is recognized by UGC under CAS-I, CAS-II and receives funds regularly from agencies like DST and NBHM.
About COEP Technological University (COEP Tech)
College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), now Technological University (from 21st June 2022), was established in 1854 and is one of the oldest and Premier Engineering Institutes in the Country. The institute is known for imparting quality technical education and is ranked consistently on par with the Best Engineering Institutes in the Country by National Institutional Ranking Framework and other prestigious surveys. The institute is known for its contributing alumni, spread globally for serving mankind and technology. With 8 UG and more than 26 PG courses in engineering and one PG program in business administration, besides Ph.D. program in all disciplines, the focus of COEP Technological University is on research and development, innovation activities relevant to industries. EIGHT Multi-disciplinary Centers of Excellence in sunrise areas of Applied technologies are being set up. The university is NAAC accredited at A+ level.
The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1960. It is now part of the School of Computational Sciences. Research on various aspects of Graph theory, Matroid theory, Lattice theory, Commutative algebra, Coding theory, Geometric function theory, and Fractional calculus with pure and engineering applications are carried out by the faculty. Our vision is to develop the department as a research center for pure and applied mathematics with applications to engineering.

Call for papers
The papers are to be submitted, at the latest by 15th May 2024, through email to ymborse@unipune.ac.in
The participants are kindly invited to submit the full text of their research papers for presentation at the conference. The papers should be on topics related to the theme of the conference. The papers will go through the screening process and the decision about selection of papers for presentation will be communicated to participants. Based on the presentation, peer reviewed FIVE best papers will be honored with R. B. Endowment Best Paper Award comprising of cash prize of Rs. 2000 each."
Papers presented in the ADMA-ICDM 2024 can be considered for publication in Indian Journal of Discrete Mathematics (IJDM), a UGC care listed journal of Academy of Discrete Mathematics and Applications (ADMA), after the usual review process.
