Department runs post graduate and Ph.d programme in Instrumentation Science. Eligibility for this program is B.Sc. In Physics, Electronic Science, Principle Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentation Science. It caters mainly the need of process industries such as to the need of chemical, fertilizer, petrochemical, oil And refinery, power, textile, plastic, automobile, agriculture, dairy, food processing and manufacturing industries. It also covers robotics, biomedical, photonics and analytical applications . The post graduate programme of this department is well appreciated by the industries. Department has strong desire of shaping innovative alliance with industry to achieve academic excellence along with up-to-date training on current trends in Embedded, Process Automation and Industrial Automation including software applications viz. LabVIEW, MATLAB, Automation Studio etc.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop is about developing skills necessary for understanding and completion of projects at under graduate level. Candidates will Learn each and every aspects of each from scratch to the final Analysis and documentation. This workshop will cover basics which require while designing any analog as well as digital electronic circuit viz., breadboarding, PCB designing software, simulation, making PCBs, assembling, testing and troubleshooting, etc. Also, individual assistance will be provided to each participant for his / her final year project.
