Pune has excellent connectivity with neighbouring cities and towns through a well-maintained network of roads. Mumbai (140 km), the capital of Maharashtra State, is well-linked to Pune by a number of state and roadways buses. Those driving from Mumbai need to take the Mumbai-Pune Expressway route, which takes barely 2 to 3 hours to reach Pune.

By Train 🚆

Pune Junction railway station links the city with all the major Indian destinations. Several mail/express and superfast trains connect Pune to various Indian cities in the south, north and west.

By Air ✈️

The Pune International Airport is located at Lohagaon, about 10 km from the city centre. The airport serves both domestic and international flights. It is very well connected through domestic airlines with the entire country. The airport is also connected to important international cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Frankfurt. Another international airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, which is only 140 km from Pune and well connected by road. Delegates travelling to Mumbai airport are advised to avail private taxi service to travel to Pune.
